OUTER LAYERS

JoyaGoo Spreadsheet - Jackets

Think about what goes underneath. Compare sleeve length, chest room and closure details, then account for the space a heavier layer adds to your parcel.

Jacket Fit, Materials & Layers

Compare outer layers with your usual T-shirt, knit or hoodie in mind. Sleeve length, chest room and overall length are useful starting points. A cropped bomber, track jacket and padded layer can serve different outfits, so compare their construction and measurements.

Allow space for your usual layer

Measure a jacket you wear over similar clothing and compare its chest width, shoulders and sleeves with the chart. Check body length separately: a cropped cut can have plenty of chest room while ending much higher than a regular jacket.

Read the material information

Look for the stated outer fabric, lining and any filling. A product image does not demonstrate insulation, waterproofing or weather resistance. If those features matter, ask for the relevant specifications instead of treating a padded or technical appearance as proof.

Inspect closures and parcel size

Check photos of zips, snaps, pockets, cuffs and the interior. Confirm the exact version and colour before ordering. When comparing total cost, account for the packed size and available shipping options as well as the item price.

USD estimates use the API’s reference rate of CNY 7.2 per USD. Prices exclude shipping and other charges; check the selected option on the current listing. Brand names are source catalogue labels. Listing images are not your order’s QC photos.

STYLE NOTES

Jacket Layering Guide

Build the outfit from the inside out. Start with your base layer and trousers, then compare how the jacket changes the overall length, shape and colour balance.

Over a simple T-shirt

An open jacket makes the tee part of the outfit. Try a plain base under a detailed outer layer, or let a graphic show through a simpler jacket. Compare the visible neckline and lower hem before settling on the combination.

With a hoodie

Look at how the hood sits around the jacket collar and how much of the cuffs and hem remain visible. Compare the layers while moving your arms. A combination that looks right on a hanger may feel different when worn together.

Balance the lower half

Try a shorter jacket with a higher trouser waist, or compare a longer outer layer with a simpler leg shape. Use footwear or a bag to repeat one colour. Keep the rest of the palette quieter when the jacket is the main feature.
